What this website stores

The website’s own scripts do not set cookies. They do not load advertising or analytics tools. The pages do not require a saved preference to be read, and the contact note tool does not store your draft in localStorage.

This page lets you explicitly save a storage choice on your current browser. That uses localStorage rather than a cookie. LocalStorage is a browser database: unlike a cookie, its contents are not automatically sent with ordinary page requests.

Your choice

There are currently no optional tracking services to activate. “Accept” records your preference only; it does not enable tracking or grant advance permission for future, unspecified services. “Essential only” records that preference instead. You can read the site without choosing either.

The storage record

The preference is specific to this browser and site origin. It is not an account setting and does not follow you to another device. Private browsing, blocked storage or browser data-clearing settings may prevent it from being retained.

Clipboard and downloaded notes

Copying a note on the Contact page writes to your device’s clipboard only after you press the copy button. Downloading creates a text file. These are not cookies, and clearing this website’s localStorage does not remove clipboard history or downloaded files. Manage those through your device’s controls.

Managing site data

Use “Forget my choice” to remove the preference created by this website. Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings can also remove it. Blocking storage does not stop you reading the essays or using the local text preparation tool, although copying may depend on browser permissions.
